‘Matchmakers for shoes’: Feet Fleet opens third store in the Treasure Valley
A specialty shoe store that first moved to the Treasure Valley in 2015, now has a third location.
Feet Fleet is a locally owned and operated footwear store specializing in finding customers the perfect shoes.
Owners Alex Mimlitz and Megan Lacy opened the Nampa Feet Fleet in 2024, and just opened a third location in Boise – off White Water Boulevard by Esther Simplot Park and the greenbelt.
“When Alex and I came together, we realized we shared the same dream: to build something of our own and make a real impact where we live,” Lacy said. “Building Fleet Feet Treasure Valley was the perfect fit, a way to combine our love of running with our drive to build, and to serve our community every single day.”
All three Feet Fleet’s specialize in finding customers the best shoes and solutions to help them reach their goals — whether they’re runners, walkers, or just looking for comfortable shoes or insoles.
“Here’s the interesting part: you can buy our products online and in plenty of other places, so that’s not why people shop with us. People come to us to get the right products for their specific needs. We’re kind of like matchmakers for shoes,” Lacy said.
In addition to getting help finding the perfect fit, the Boise store will also offer price matching, a rewards program, free community events, and a 60-day return policy.
The new store will also have a “chill zone” for runners and walkers to gather before and after being on the Greenbelt. It’ll have 24/7 keycode access, an espresso machine, shower and bathroom access, and long-run supplies on hand (gels, socks, anti-chafing products, and more).
“We want it to be a place where runners can gather, connect, and find their people,” Lacy said.
